Home schoolers beat back what amounted to a Democratic filibuster today in the House and rammed through legislation to force the evil secular humanists to accept their diplomas. We didn't keep track of how long this debate dragged on, but the chair of the Capitol Hill Press Corps has just now officially ruled it was "a long-ass time."
Home schoolers are upset because certain state and local government agencies won't accept their diplomas when they try to apply for jobs. Their bill, which passed the House on a 61-27 vote, requires these agencies to give the diplomas the same weight as ones from public schools.

Get a stylish bag - cosmetic bags usually work. Make sure it is small enough to fit into your locker, but still big enough to fit your makeup! It's worth shopping around to find one with enough space to fit everything, with enough pockets to organize everything, and in a style that really suits you. Not stocked up on cash? Check your local dollar store or bargain mart. These stores often have cute makeup bags (some even come with extra compartments or a mirror!) for $2.00 or less!
Choose your hygiene items. Basics include: lotion, tampons/pads, wet wipes, Kleenex, and nail clippers. You may also want: travel sized deodorant, nail cleaner, tweezers, and makeup remover/toner.
Choose your wardrobe items. Basics include: safety pins, small scissors, and a small bottle of clear nail polish (to stop runs in socks and nylons- also great if you need to touch up your nails!). You may also want to get a small sewing kit or keep extra socks and/or underwear, if your bag is big enough. Choose your makeup items. Basics include: lip gloss, lip balm, pressed powder and/or concealer, eyebrow comb, and a mirror. You may also want to include: an eyeshadow trio in colors that match your eye color (try browns!), a no-fail lipstick, or clear mascara (one coat of the other stuff will do for the day
